Six Questions Your First Choice Business Brokers Franchise Business Plan Must Answer

We developed this franchise unit business plan in Microsoft Word based on our own analysis of the business brokerage model. All six chapters are pre-filled with data specific to opening and operating a professional services franchise, including revenue projections starting at $450,000 in the first year and a 10% royalty fee structure. The entire document is fully editable, allowing you to tailor it to your specific location and financial situation.

1. Executive Summary: What is the core business case for opening this franchise unit?

The business case is to establish a premier business brokerage franchise in a high-growth commercial district, targeting retiring 'silver tsunami' business owners and tech SMEs with sophisticated exit strategies and valuation services, all powered by the franchisor's established brand and proprietary technology.

Key Opportunity Drivers

  • Targeting the underserved 'silver tsunami' demographic in need of business exit strategy planning.
  • Leveraging the franchisor's proprietary valuation technology to ensure data-driven accuracy.
  • Establishing a high-visibility office in a prime business district to attract high-net-worth clients.

2. Products & Services: What are the primary revenue-generating services?

The franchise unit will generate revenue through three primary streams: success-based brokerage commissions from closed deals, consulting fees for business valuation services, and referral fees. The financial model projects brokerage commissions will be the largest contributor, starting at $250,000 in the first year of operations.

Core Service Offerings

  • Brokerage Commissions: Fees earned upon the successful sale or acquisition of a business.
  • Valuation Fees: Fixed fees charged for providing expert business valuation services.
  • Referral Fees: Income from referring clients to trusted partners like CPAs and attorneys.
[dynamic_pic10]

3. Market Analysis: Who are the target customers and what is the market opportunity?

The primary target customers are 'silver tsunami' business owners planning retirement, tech startups and SMEs in the local commercial hub, and high-net-worth investors seeking strategic acquisitions. The market opportunity lies in providing specialized, high-touch brokerage services to these sophisticated segments that are often overlooked by generalist brokers.

Primary Customer Segments

  • 'Silver Tsunami' Owners: Business owners aged 55+ seeking sophisticated exit plans.
  • Local SMEs & Tech Startups: Companies in the immediate commercial district needing growth or exit strategies.
  • High-Net-Worth Investors: Serial entrepreneurs and investors looking for acquisition targets.
[dynamic_pic11]

4. Marketing and Sales Plan: How will the unit acquire clients and generate leads?

Client acquisition will be driven by a multi-channel strategy focused on establishing local authority. This includes hyper-local SEO to capture digital search demand, building an exclusive referral network with local CPAs and attorneys, and hosting educational seminars through the Chamber of Commerce to connect directly with business owners.

Client Acquisition Channels

  • Digital Marketing: Hyper-local SEO and targeted online advertising to attract qualified leads.
  • Referral Partnerships: Formal alliances with local professionals to create a steady pipeline.
  • Educational Seminars: Hosting events to build trust and demonstrate expertise in the community.
[dynamic_pic12]

5. Management and Organization: What is the proposed staffing and management structure?

The unit will operate with a lean, expert team led by a full-time Principal Broker with an annual salary of $72,000. The initial team will also include an Associate Broker, a Transaction Coordinator, and an Administrative Assistant. The number of Associate Brokers is planned to scale from 1.0 to 3.0 FTEs over five years to support revenue growth.

Initial Staffing Plan

Good But
Format: Kindle
A little disjointed at times, at least to me. This was about Lila (omega woman) and Harrison, Wesley and River (alpha males). The main characters were likeable, as was Lila's friend, Wendy. Lila finally wised up and left the alpha she had been with for a couple of years because he was an a-hole, who treated and used her horribly. She knew some, if not all, of the guys from college if I remember correctly. The guys had been looking for an omega to bond with for some time. When Lila saw Harrison again, the other two guys were out on a date with another omega but Harrison refused to go because he didn't like her. He saw Lila again and knew she was the omega they had been searching for. However, it wasn't easy for them to convince Lila of that because of the way her ex-alpha treated her. The sex was hot. There was one inconsistency. I could almost swear that when Lila first saw Harrison again, she told her best friend, Wendy, that Harrison was the lead for his pack. Then later on when she's spending time with River, she thinks he is the pack's lead. Maybe I read something incorrectly. All in all, a good story.

Sweet read
Format: Kindle
A sweet steamy read of an omega who finds her worth and finds the guys that are willing to show her. The story had lovable characters with low angst and a HEA.

Short and sweet
Format: Kindle
Beautifully written, I was worried when it was labelled as a novella at the start, really used to those missing info and jumping forward to complete the story or not having complete character growth, not to worry! Author gave enough time to fall in love (and hate) with everyone, can't wait to read Wendy's story I feel like she will be the badass we all love!

Likeable characters, but only 75% complete story
Format: Kindle
I really liked the characters introduced, but the author didn’t fully conceptualize everything. We know Lila works long hours, but despite being a college graduate we never learn anything about what she does, where she works, how much she gets paid, etc. For an omega who seemed to be able to support herself, that seemed an unusual oversight. We learn absolutely nothing about what she wants in life, either. Is she just surviving the post-college life struggle or working up to her dream job? Fiona the flamingo had more detail than some of the main characters, but she was 10/10 as good as Wendy for a side character. — spoilers ahead —- Separately, some of the plot details were contradictory, or just missing. On one page Lila and Larry were together for 18 months, on another it was 4 years. When did she even move in with him? What did she do while he was gaming? How long were she and Wendy friends for Lila to trust her like that but not know much about her? And why didn’t Lila’s alphas sue Larry to reduce Lila’s debt? Shopping seemed a weird choice pamper her without knowing more about Lila’s debt and plans to reduce it. And her alphas never even ask anything about her job, but she’s The One. Such a frustrating relationship plot hole. We never even learn anything about the alphas’ families or what they want in life either. I wish the author had written about 30 more pages fleshing out the details and showing how the alphas were just as in love with Lila’s personality as they were with her scent and body. Loved the concept, but I still feel like I read 3/4 of a book.
